In WTB Control

Customer Journey Part 3: Production and Assembly

In the first two parts of our series, we explored how we at WTB Control work closely with our customers, from initial contact and customized design to order processing, prototyping, and functional testing. Now we continue to look at the production and assembly of our products, including quality checks, to ensure they meet our high standards.

1. Production in Sweden

Once the prototype has been approved and any necessary adjustments have been made, we move to the production phase. Our cutting-edge facilities in Skövde are equipped to handle both small and large volumes, always with high precision and efficiency.

We use modern, advanced technology in CNC machining and automation to ensure high quality and efficiency in production. Our skilled operators and engineers closely monitor every step in the production process to ensure everything meets the specific requirements.

2. Assembly

After the components have been manufactured and quality-checked in production, they are sent to our assembly units in Skövde or Stockholm for final assembly.

Our assemblers are experts at assembling complex hydraulic systems with precision and accuracy, and we follow lean production principles to optimize efficiency and quality. Screen-based assembly instructions ensure that each step is performed correctly. We maintain an extremely high level of technical cleanliness in our assembly areas, such as using positive air pressure to prevent dust. During assembly, each unit undergoes several test stages to verify correct installation and function.

3. Quality Control

Quality is a central part of our process at WTB Control. To ensure that each product meets our high standards, it undergoes several quality checks:

Component Inspection: Each component is carefully inspected before being approved for assembly.
Final Inspection: Before the product is sent to the customer, a final inspection is conducted to ensure it meets all quality and safety requirements.

4. Continuous Improvement

We always strive to improve our processes and products. By analyzing feedback and test results, we can continuously optimize our manufacturing and assembly methods.

By integrating advanced production technology with meticulous assembly and stringent quality controls, WTB Control ensures that every product we deliver meets the highest standards. In our facility in Skövde, all different roles work closely together to always deliver reliable and high-performing hydraulic solutions to our customers.
